Vision Statement To become a national recognized canoe club, by offering the best athletes, the best coaches and the best facility. Our Statement of Values · To offer an all inclusive fun and enjoyable program to everyone · Help build self-esteem, team spirit and life-long friendships among club members · To have members challenge, set and reach personal goals in fitness and competition Our Club SNCC was established in 2008 at the Welland International Flatwater Centre in Welland, ON. We have use of a professional nine lane Albano buoy system course, six wakeless official/safety boats and a brand new timing tower, complete with a Finish Lynx Timing System. Our regatta course is set in the scenic landscape of Welland, home of the annual 10km Rose Paddle, Paddle By Fire, and Head of The Welland - Five Bridges Fall Classic. In the past, SNCC has hosted the Brazilian Canoe/Kayak team, the National Team Trials, Western Ontario Division Canoe and Kayak Team Trials, and Western Ontario Division Canoe and Kayak Championships. There will be no slowing down for the SNCC in the upcoming years. For a full schedule, visit our Events Calendar page.
